Poll: Data Privacy Top Issue for Companies
The public continues to demand more from companies on data privacy.
A recent Harris Poll surveying more than 2,000 adults found data privacy the top issue that Americans want companies to address. More people selected data privacy over healthcare and job creation as a very important issue for companies to make a positive different on.
The survey identified data privacy as a pressing issue for 65% of respondents. Healthcare was an important issue to 61% and 59% selected supporting military veterans.
However, when asked to identify the issues that companies were making a very positive impact on, data privacy ranked 6th out of the 16 issues listed. Access to healthcare similarly slid from number two to number four on the list, with job creation jumping to the top spot.
