GDPR Compliance Software as a Service (SaaS) Tools

Our enterprise GDPR compliance software as a service helps companies decrease regulatory risks, better engage customers and turn privacy into a competitive advantage. Based on patent-pending Hybrid AI technology, Clarip brings powerful “Data Risk Intelligence” to help stop data leaks, understand third-party data sharing, identify gaps in privacy notices, and uncover new revenue opportunities. Clarip’s consent management APIs can easily manage consent for millions of customers per GDPR requirements across multiple channels. In addition, Clarip’s simplified privacy notice can be deployed “Just-in-Time” offering greater transparency and thereby increasing consumer trust.

We work with businesses of all sizes from the Fortune 500 to growing startups as part of their GDPR compliance strategy. The software is built in modules to allow companies to choose the components that they need to start (or complete) their GDPR compliance plan.

GDPR compliance is often referred to as a journey rather than a single box to check and then forget. We also help companies replace intensive, costly manual processes with automated software that can keep up with the pace and demands of automated data collection in the 24/7 connected world.

After March 2018 and the Cambridge Analytica scandal involving Facebook, there will be even more pressure on businesses to ensure that they are GDPR compliant and protecting the privacy of their users/customers. Not only are regulators demanding that businesses take action to protect personal information, customers are demanding it as well.

The following are some of the key modules in the Clarip software:

Preference Manager – Understand and connect with customers across multiple channels, at the right time. This is an API based preference management platform for marketing. Stop sending prospects and customers untargeted messages that they don’t want or need. It risks alienating them and will only lead the to either ignore your messages or unsubscribe.

Enterprise Consent Management – Multi-channel consent management via REST APIs with custom consent forms. Article 6 of the GDPR lists consent as one of the six lawful basis of processing. Consent is perhaps the most powerful option, since it will allow the company to act to the limits of the authority given by the data subject. However, it is also one of the toughest to achieve, since there are specific requirements for achieving it under Article 7. The Clarip consent management software helps companies capture consent and maintain the documentation needed to demonstrate to the supervisory authority later that the processing was lawful.

Data Flow Mapping / Data Risk Intelligence – Understand customer data flows and stop data leakage with our powerful website scanner. Track all of the beacons and trackers fired on your website to ensure you have Article 28 data processing agreements in place and sufficient Article 30 documentation to satisfy any regulatory inquiries. If you are looking for GDPR data mapping software to make your website compliance tracking easier, this is the tool for your organization.

Cookie Management – Manage third party cookies with actionable data and an easy removal process. Understand what third-parties are putting cookies on your website to ensure that you have captured consent for them.

Cookie Consent Manager – Easily manage cookie banners across thousands of sites. Match the look and feel of your websites and make changes on the fly without visiting each site thanks to the Clarip software and insertions through tag management.

Disclosure Management – Identify gaps in privacy notices. Misleading privacy disclosures are a massive problem as they can result in both large regulatory fines as well as class action lawsuits. Gaps arise because of the pace of technology and a lack of understanding of what is happening behind the scenes. The Clarip software helps compliance professionals mitigate these risks and decrease gaps in their privacy policy.

Simplified Privacy Notices – Our Privacy Notice for Humans is a UX wrapper that sits on top of the full legal privacy policy created (or reviewed) by your lawyers. It assists with the GDPR principle of transparency which flows throughout the Articles, including key sections of Article 5, 7, 12, 13 and 14. In general, GDPR requires information to be provided in a concise, transparent, intelligible and easily accessible form, using clear plain language.

Privacy Impact Assessment – Survey module for automated risk assessments. Article 35 of the GDPR requires businesses confronted with processing that poses risks to the rights and freedoms of data subjects to conduct a DPIA and mitigate the risk, if any, posed by the business process. Organizations also need to generate the appropriate records to demonstrate that they complied with the DPIA requirement or, in the event no DPIA was performed, that they thoughtfully considered whether an impact assessment was required by GDPR with respect to the business process at issue.

Privacy Center – A Data Subject Access Rights portal to manage communication, requests and maintain the audit trail needed under Article 30 (Recordkeeping). Data subjects have the right to request access, correction, deletion and export of their personal data held by your organization. The Clarip DSAR Portal provides companies with the ability to perform intakes of subject access requests, communicate with the data subject about their request, and maintain the documentation required concerning the outcome of their data subject access request.

Our platform can also help businesses with the California Consumer Privacy Act, including data mapping for privacy disclosures, handling opt-outs of the sale of personal information, and data subject access requests.
