Article 26 of ePrivacy Regulation: Committee (Proposed Text)
The proposed text for ePrivacy Regulation Article 26 from the 4th of May, 2018 is below, covering the committee. This will likely change in the next month or two as they are meeting to discuss the changes to the current ePrivacy Directive. We will update accordingly. Negotiations continue about the precise text and the current version gives one year from the date of entry into force for implementation. We will post the full text when it is available.
Article 26: Committee
1. The Commission shall be assisted by the Communications Committee established under Article 110 of the [Directive establishing the European Electronic Communications Code]. That committee shall be a committee within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 182/2011 [Footnote 10].
2. Where reference is made to this paragraph, Article 5 of Regulation (EU) No 182/2011 shall apply.
